The Mobile Film Festival (MFF) Africa has called for entries into its online festival and awards for African short films tagged ‘1 mobile, 1 minute, 1 film.’
In order to participate, entrants are to shoot their films with a mobile device (phone or tablet) and submit same within the stipulated time
Only one rule to the contest is key: A 1-minute film (including credits).

Note, however, that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the specified dates may no longer be valid. Hence, the organisers will determine closing dates for the call for films as well as the dates for the online festival and the award ceremonies.
Entrants are to note that the 2020 edition is solely reserved for residents of 54 African countries and that there are no themes or topic restrictions. Other points to note are special effects, shot sequencing, etc are allowed in the edits.
In addition, applicants are not allowed to not embed any subtitles in their film neither should their film to be uploaded contain any special character
To be considered for the Mobile Film Festival Fill Africa edition, interested parties are to complete their registration forms and upload their film by clicking the link provided below. Upon submission, entrants will receive an email confirming their registration.
